Process
Every project begins on the page. Kingsten believes that strong screenwriting is the foundation of strong filmmaking — he rewrites until the structure breathes.
He runs sets built on trust and creative dialogue. The best work comes from performers and crew who feel heard, valued, and energized.
Composition, color, and camera movement are never accidental. Each shot is storyboarded and discussed with the DP to ensure visual meaning aligns with narrative intent.
The edit is where the film is truly made. Kingsten edits his own projects and treats the cutting room as a space of discovery, not just assembly.
